Security Training
We are QQI (formerly FETAC) TRAINING CENTRE approved to run these courses:
We run the Security Guarding Level 4 & Door Security Skills Level 4 courses starting on the last Tuesday of each month. The course runs over 2 eeks. Three days the first week and the final day on the Friday of the following week. The training commencing at 9.30 am. Each course is €275 and includes:
- Certification from QQI (formerly FETAC)
- All relevant hand-outs
- Each participant will leave with a completed application form for a private security authority license
- Tea and coffee facilities
As we are an employer, each participant has a better chance of employment by attending our courses. Our experienced tutors have all achieved “Train the Trainer” qualifications. They also have vast experience in the security industry.
We are more than happy to visit your location nation-wide and personalise a course to your requirements, as well as being flexible to your timetable.

On 6 November 2012, Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) www.qqi.ie was established as a new integrated agency (replacing FETAC, HETAC, NQAI and incorporating the functions of IUQB).
Our courses are all QQI (formerly FETAC) approved and delivered in the correct format and manner. This QQI (formerly FETAC) endorsement distinguishes us from other providers, who may not be operating within the guidelines set out by QQI (formerly FETAC).
PSA uses “Fit and Proper Guidelines” assessment when potential impact criminal convictions or other issues have on your eligibility for a PSA licence, this will be done after you complete your Garda e-vetting.
